The Little Book of Daism #1
The Little Book tract (page 1 of 3) The Daist Church of Jesus Christ by BWH 4/14/2026
1. Daism is a 4th branch of Protestant Christianity. There’s 1) Wesleyanism, 2) Free Methodism, 3) AG Pentecostalism, and 4) Daism. It’s like a millstone that is thrown into the sea, the crossroads of the sea; the Philippine Levant.
2. To begin with the firm foundation, the age-old question is: Why is there something rather than nothing? Realizing therefore that there must be a first creator God, we may then ask: Since God is very intelligent, and I'm also intelligent, what does God want me to know, and from what book? Well, the mind of God must be reflected in the character of God, and the character of God must be reflected in the nature of His creation. So, the characteristics of the natural world must match the characteristics of His book. We have in nature found an order which we know as chemistry and physics, which is also called natural law. So we first look for a book of monotheistic divine law, which we find in the OT. There we find a chosen people who are looking for a coming Messianic prophet, such as Jesus.
3. The gospel is predestined. The acceptance of the gospel confers predestination upon the believer. Conferred predestination ironically occurs as a result of a free-will decision. Salvation from sin and final death predestines one to the ultimate destiny of eternal Life in heaven, as one abides in grace.
4. Jesus gives to all peoples the choice to receive free salvation from sin and final death based on a personal relationship with Him, by grace through faith alone, but some people will choose to not be saved or resurrected. A personal relationship means that there is no need for mediation through a sacerdotal priesthood, as Jesus is the high priest of the order of Melchizedek, the priest-king of Salem, that’s peace. Jesus is above, and was before Melchizedek, for he had no Beginning of Days, that’s the highest heavens. Melchizedek had eternal spiritual Life in Jesus by faith in the God most high, though he had no Jewish father or mother, as he was a Gentile; a Jebusite of Canaan cursed of Noah.
5. The firm foundation of salvation by faith in God is wonderful! Our personal relationship with Jesus is shown throughout the NT to be a necessary aspect of salvation and spiritual regeneration, for there is salvation in no other name. That is true even when the name of Jesus as Christ is unknown to the believer, as with Melchizedek.
6. The personal relationship with Jesus is rather an amazing thing. Greater love has no man than He who gives His life for His friend. No greater love. Period. Not only do we not need a sacerdotal priesthood, but as servants we can actually have His friendship, even unto adoption and inheritance! A new heart and a new spirit! Jesus said; where two or three are gathered together, there I am in the midst of them... as their hearts become knit together in love.
7. A personal relationship with Jesus is one of the main aspects of Protestantism, as is the common salvation by grace through faith alone, as a free gift. As a Daist, I uphold both of these doctrines. I also know that salvation occurs as a result of a free-will acceptance of faith and a public confesssion of faith in Jesus Christ. That is, one must have a free-will acceptance of faith in Jesus Christ, and then one must give a public confession of faith. This is the entryway of the kingdom of heaven, for Jesus was given to open before Him the double doors, for He said that He has set before us an open door which no one can shut.
8. A Day of heaven, or a heavenly Day, is a period of personal spiritual development. The first Day dawns with a free-will acceptance of faith, by which one receives the Holy Spirit/ Seal of the Spirit, which enables one to give a public confession of faith. That becomes a profession of faith, by which one is allowed the Anointing of the Spirit.
9. During the first 4 Days, the regeneration of the spirit body occurs as the 4 first-fruits of the Spirit are given according to election; 1) the Anointing of the Spirit, 2) the Covering of the Spirit, 3) the Infilling of the Spirit, and 4) the Indwelling of the Spirit. The indwelling is the resurrection of the spirit body within the physical bodies of the soulmates. The general resurrection is spiritual, not physical; it's concurrent, not end-time; and it's intimate, not en-mass. The 4 stages of the natural parables symbolize the 4 first-fruits, like with the 4 stages of natural birth/2nd birth.
10. The 4 first-works are the rites of the Church, which symbolize the 4 first-fruits of the Spirit that are the regeneration of the spirit body. There’s; 1) Consecration, that’s a confession of faith and an anointing, 2) Baptism, of mature believers, by backwards immersion in Living water, 3) Communion, with the symbolic elements, on the new and full moon, and 4) Pedlution, that’s foot washing, at the front wall of the church, before the cross that’s like a door. The first-works represent the 4 stages of the regeneration, which is the 2nd birth. Although the 2nd birth is usually thought of as being an acceptance of faith, yet that beginning preceeds the 1st first-fruit of 4 fruits in their seasons.
